Racquetball Needs your Help
Arizona Outdoor Racquetball & Arizona Racquetball Association's Darold & Michelle Key are working with the city of Gilbert. We are part of a focus group that helps provide information as what should be included in the new regional park. We would like everyone to please fill out the Gilbert Online form and express to them your desire to have them build outdoor short-wall courts as well as indoor racquetball courts. The items with the most requests will get a higher priority from the City. If you are not a Gilbert resident please include where you live and why it is important for you.

Gilbert's New Regional Park
In the next few years, Gilbert residents and businesses will enjoy recreational use of the Chandler Heights Basin thanks to an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between the Flood Control District of Maricopa County and the Town of Gilbert. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors voted to approve the IGA that allows Gilbert to implement and maintain a multi-use and recreational area within the District’s Chandler Heights Basin, 225 acres located south of Queen Creek Road and west of Higley Road. In addition, Gilbert currently owns approximately 47 acres immediately adjacent to the basin which provides a new, 272 acre regional park site in the South area of Gilbert.
We need you to express the need for more Racquetball courts! Sunnyslope HS has the only 3 wall short courts in the state, definitely not enough. Their are no 3 wall courts in the east valley, again not enough. We need to educate our friends and the city of Gilbert.
